The IMS Photo Contest was founded during the International Mountain Summit (IMS) in 2011 by the nonprofit association Eventus Ok. Thanks to our passion for mountains and for photography, it became the greatest contest for mountain photography worldwide. To cover the administrative, staff, purchase, and marketing costs which have been increasing as well, we had to implement an administration fee. Given that the expenses decrease with the increasing number of the pictures, the administrative fee goes down proportionally the more images are submitted.
Furthermore, a part of the fee will be used to support the “Schneetiger” project. This first project of Laureus in Austria supports kids and young people with disabilities to enjoy an active lifestyle through winter sports. The attractive money prizes are given by the Sponsors.
The award ceremony will take place on Saturday 14th October 2017 at the IMS Photo Night of the International Mountain Summit in Brixen/Bressanone, Italy.
All winners are invited to join. Travel expenses are covered by the prize money.
